God can be Your Restorer

“He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.” Psalms 23:3 NKJV

According to dictionary dot com, the definition of restorer “is a person who repairs or renovates a building, work of art, etc. so as to return it to its original condition.” There is none other who can restore you like God. He is the only ONE who can. He turns ashes into beauty. A song just dropped in my spirit by Elevation Worship titled Graves into Gardens. If you haven’t heard that song, you have to listen to it.

God is the only ONE who can restore you to the original condition you were created. No matter how empty, dysfunctional, or immoral your soul may be, God can restore it to its original condition which was created to be in His likeness. You can be restored. You can be renewed. You can start over. You can be the woman or man God created you to be. You don’t have to stay in that dark place of emptiness, dysfunction, and feeling like your life has no meaning. Because that is not where you belong. Choose light. Choose love. Choose life.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV

As a Restorer, God will also lead you in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. If you allow Him to. You do have to let Him be the leader and you follow. It is your choice. God has given us all a free will. I pray you choose to allow His Holy Spirit to lead you in the paths of righteousness. If and when you happen to stray, quickly repent, arise, learn from the wrong decision you made, and be restored in Jesus’s mighty name.

My sister, my brother, I want to encourage you to allow God to be your Restorer. There is nothing too hard for Him. You can’t hide anything from Him. He sees all your flaws and He knew them before you were conceived. He sees your pain, wounds, and scars. Give your brokenness to Him for He loves and cares about you. Withhold nothing from Him.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Jeremiah 32:27 NKJV
