Meet the Team

Tyra E. Rowell, Ed.S., NCC, LPC

ISSUES of LIFE, INC. is my way to give back to the community. As life would have it, I was unfairly silenced but found a haven to safely release the bondage and barriers of trauma.  I realized that I needed to provide a safe space where people could proudly be who they are, unapologetically, and tackle their own life issues without judgment, ridicule, or shame. I have years of experience as a School Counselor and a Psychotherapist. I am currently enrolled at Liberty University, pursuing a PhD in Psychology. My desire is that every person who walks through the doors of Issues of Life, Inc. will experience hope, growth, and healing.

Ira Martin, III, M.S., LPC

The difficulties that you’re experiencing today can’t compare to the joy that is coming. Let’s face it, life can really throw us curveballs. If you are someone that’s dealing with the struggles of day-to-day living and finding it difficult to overcome these challenges, let’s work together to regain the strength that you already possess. I believe in a collaborative approach while working with clients to assist their individual counseling goals. My approach is humanistic, focusing on the complexity of your lived experience. I aim to provide an encouraging, empathetic, confidential atmosphere, to help facilitate insight, healing, and a process for change. If you are ready for positive change and want to (re)narrate your life story, I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.
