Meet Our Founder

Tyra Rowell has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from Mississippi University for Women and an Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. She is licensed as a School and Vocational Counselor in the state of Mississippi. She has obtained her National Certified Counselor credentials from National Board of Certified Counselors as well as her certifications in Pastoral Counseling from Sarasota Academy. She is an ordained minister of the state of Mississippi with a heart to serve and help others.

She has worked in the School Counseling field since 2006. She is an Adjunct Instructor at Holmes Community College teaching Child Psychology. She has also taught Human Growth & Development at East Mississippi Community College. She has authored and self-published three books, Unapologetically Being Me, Writing through the Valley, and Anything She Says.

Christian Counseling

Christian Counseling
This service is available for teens, families, couples, groups, and individual adults. Areas of counseling focus include but are not limited to:

• Family issues and Codependency
• Teen issues such as bullying, self-images, and self-esteem
• Grief & Loss

• Stress and anxiety
• Resolving childhood trauma and abuse

Counseling Sessions
Counseling sessions are 50 minutes in duration and generally are held one time per week. Other scheduling arrangements can be made by request.
