You shall Lack Nothing

“The Lord is my Shepherd; there is nothing I lack.” Psalms 23:1 HCSB

Do you have confidence in God that He will meet all your needs during this season of the pandemic and lack of employment?

David knew, not by what he heard, but by experience who the Lord was to him. And he declared the Lord was his shepherd and he will want for nothing.

Philippians, the 4th chapter and 19th verse states, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew, the 6th chapter and verses 31 and 32 states, “Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”

God knows your needs before you even ask. I’ve learned this week, that God will also meet your needs through His people. I will admit I don’t like to ask people for help. I’ve always went to my Abba Father for whatever I needed. Some would say this is called pride but something happened this week that left me no choice but to ask for help. So, I denied my will and asked for help from the person who the Lord instructed me to asked. Lo, and behold, God blessed me with what I needed. And all I could do was cry and shout unto God for making a way in the wilderness for me.

My sister, my brother, I shared this to say there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for groceries, gas money, rent money, and etc. There are people and organizations placed on this earth to help. Seek God for what you need and ask Him how you should go about getting it. Be obedient in His instructions and watch God send an overflow you never thought could be possible.

Will you believe and have confidence in God to trust Him at His Word?

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 ESV
