“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Psalms 118:6 NKJV
If the thoughts or actions of man fear you, keep the above scripture hidden in your heart. Because man can do absolutely nothing FOR you. Their approval is not important and their validation is a void.
David had a reason to fear because of the haters who wanted him dead. But he didn’t allow that fear to fester. He found his refuge in God. He found his strength in the One who ordained him to be king. The One who helped him defeat Goliath. The One who restored and redeemed him when he sinned with Bathsheba and had her husband killed in battle.
God is the Only One who is good enough to fill every void in our lives and bring us victory through Jesus Christ. That’s the One who we need to fear or revere.
We spend so much time worrying about what people think of us and it doesn’t matter what you do or say, there will always be haters. Let them be who they are designed to be; your enemies that God wants to put under your footstool. They are the ones who will compel you to excellence. They are the ones who will push you further into your destiny. They are most defintely the ones who will elevate you in due season if you put your trust in God.
My sister, my brother, worry not about the naysayers or haters, God got you. He will perfect that which concerns you. Psalms 138:8
